and except for the fact that this has been proven to be bullshit, very interesting.

  2. StringyUK says:

Your eyes tend to “flicker” to the direction, not fix an exaggerated stare. It’s very true that this is how you read eye patterns, but this video is a bit too forced and orchestrated for my liking. I suspect the interviewee knew what the exercise was about. Good vid for illustrative purposes though.

    what a load of nonsense.

  4. TheresNoTimeLikeNow says:

@gdm777 I have to agree totally. You are right. If anyone doubts it simply Grab a few family and or friends and ask the same questions observe notate and compare each to see what you get I guarantee it won’t be exactly the same as this. You can however learn the most common responses if you start observing for yourself, it is a very useful tool especially to know when someone is lying to you. (pathetic as it is)

  5. triflind says:

dumb. how about asking questions to record eye patterns when the interviewee doesn’t know the intent?

  6. Manu88888 says:

Well i know that when you ask a question and the person which is answering watch right, he’s imaginating, thinking or lying. If he watch left, he’s saying some concrete, something that he knows and is sure of, more likely to tell the truth. Think about it and try it.

  7. terryelston says:

@gdm777 The makers of this film use eye patterns all the time. More akin to science than art.

@mellowb1rd Humman is an animal and just becouse we invented talking didnt make “body-language” a crap. I would love to see how you trying to explain to a dog: “Forget all that body-language crap”. There is a loot of body language in the nature and some how this animals are missleaded by some youtube video acording to you? Your point of vew is a crap…

  15. mellowb1rd says:

@majawow You can’t really rely on “what if”, though. If you knew what made the guy nervous, you probably wouldn’t need to ask them any questions, anyway….you’d already know. Also, for a lot of people, telling the truth is as nerve wracking as lying.

  16. majawow says:

@mellowb1rd that s true in many cases, but what if the topic itself makes us nervous?

  17. LaSeuleEtoile says:

    @deadwing5 You genius,, haha

  18. MrStephAwesome says:

@mellowb1rd Hey, I agree completely that the voice is super important, but it’s a dead giveaway when the body does not correlate what the voice is saying. A combination of these is what gives away a liar
